Medical waste found on Durban's beaches
DURBAN - 18 May 2016 - Khumbulani Dlongolo, the eThekwini Metro Municipality's acting manager responsible for beaches retrieves some of the medical waste that was found on the Blue Lagoon Beach next to the mouth of the Umgeni River. The waste, which consited primarily of tablits and sealed condoms, was found in among the debris littering the beach that had been cast ashore with recent heavy rains.
